This page relates to the IT Support Specialist Traineeship course page operated by GRETB Training Centre, Mervue Business Park, Mervue, Galway, H91 CDW6, Ireland. GRETB Training Centre is the data controller responsible for personal data collected through this website.

Website Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use this website. GA4 collects information such as pages visited, time on site, device type, and approximate geographic location (country or region level). This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you.

Course Applications

Applications for the traineeship are processed through Fetch Courses (fetchcourses.ie), an external platform operated by SOLAS. When you click "Apply Now" you will be directed to their platform. SOLAS/Fetch Courses operates as a separate data controller and their own privacy policy applies to any data you submit there.

Email Contact

If you contact us directly by email at recruit@gretbtrainingcentre.ie, we receive your email address and any personal information you include in your message. This is used solely to respond to your enquiry.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

  • Email enquiries: Processing is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), or on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Google Analytics: On the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how visitors use this website so we can improve it (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You may opt out at any time — see the Cookies section below.

4. How Long We Keep Your Data

Email correspondence is retained for up to 2 years, or longer where it relates to an active enrolment or ongoing administrative matter. Google Analytics data is retained in line with GA4's default retention settings (14 months).

  • Fetch Courses / SOLAS: Course application platform. Applications submitted through Fetch Courses are governed by their own privacy policy.

  • YouTube (Google LLC): We link to our YouTube channel. If you follow that link, Google's privacy policy applies. We do not embed YouTube video players on this page.
